Achaea!

Hey all, glad to see another MUD site, MMO kids today don't know a real roleplaying experience if it stabbed them in the ass with the pointy end of a longsword

I've been playing Achaea since about 2001, despite playing a handful of MMOs I always find myself running back to Achaea for the RP community and complex PvP. I recommend it to anyone, find me in-game if you want some help starting a new character

Here's a little snippet of city raiding (PvP) in Achaea. I won't copy any of the actual fighting, but lots of people died This was a revenge raid for Targossas raiding us (Eleusis) earlier today.

Middle Street.
Everything about you is obscured by a heavy fog. Deep ruts dig into this dirt road, which meanders
through the lower part of Targossas from west to east. A few scraggly bushes line the edges of the
street, as well as several piles of stones set aside for upcoming construction. Densely covered by
lush leaves and vines, a runic totem is planted in the ground. A sigil in the shape of a small,
rectangular monolith is on the ground. A copper crested pheasant struts proudly. There are 3
glistening iridescent pearls here. There are 18 bloodroot leaves in 14 groups here. There are 7
cohosh roots in 4 groups here. There are 2 kola nuts in 2 groups here. There are 6 pieces of irid
moss in 6 groups here. A stone gargoyle flies overhead on leathery, grey wings. A swarm of bees
hovers menacingly nearby. A crystalline golem stands here. Flapping its massive wings, a dire bat
flies overhead. A blue roan ambles about here, tail swishing. A skullcap flower lies here. Wings
wrapped about herself, a ghost bat hangs from a nearby perch. A small purple ink lies discarded here.
A small green ink lies discarded here. A small yellow ink lies discarded here. A small gold ink
lies discarded here. A small blue ink lies discarded here. A small red ink lies discarded here.
There are 6 pieces of kelp in 6 groups here. A light smudge of green indicates a pinch of malachite
dusts the ground here. A small flake of gleaming aurum rests upon the ground. There are 2 ginseng
roots in a group here. A valerian leaf has been dropped here. There are 2 goldenseal roots in 2
groups here. A bit of slippery elm lies here. There are 2 pieces of bayberry bark in 2 groups here.
A small red hawthorn berry has been dropped here. There are 2 red admiral butterflies here. There
are 2 white pearl butterflies here. The decapitated head of Teela has been carelessly tossed aside.
A noble stag born entirely of primal, dancing fire stands upon spindly columns of swirling flame.
Obsidian Deladan Seir-Aristata, the Black Knight is here. His features are obscured by a mask. He
wields a runic totem in both hands. Tendril Slink, of the Pine Tree is here, vines undulating about
his form. He is surrounded by one reflection of himself. Forestwalker Achimrst Van Helsing-Sar'vet
is riding on a dire bat. His face is partially concealed beneath a raised hood. He wields a Shield
of Absorption bearing the arms of the The Curia Spiritus clan in his right hand. The soul of Asbjorn
roams the land, bodiless. Heartwood Sylvan Marv Peninsula is here, vines undulating about his form.
He is surrounded by one reflection of himself. Forestwalker Somerled Ren'Thirok, Ithmian Gladespear
is here, sprawled on the floor. Yae Dawyn is here. She wields an Yggdrasian splinter in both hands.
You see exits leading southeast and west.

You dive behind cover as the massive flame-infused creature reaches critical mass. Screaming in rage
