I know the load time was improved when I mentioned it last, but I just want to comment again. It does seem better, but it seems to still take 12-14 seconds to load the "clean" client page: www.cloudgamer.org/play?host=biyg.org&port=1801&clean

The main reason I bring this up is because if I push all my new players here, I feel like non-mudders will probably close the window after ~4 seconds of loading and nothing appearing yet. If you view the filmstrip on the results, it sits at a white page for 10 seconds before anything. I get the same results on my own PC.
CloudFlare might be worth looking into, but I don't know how'd that impact the telnet client.

This is a good site to know about. I'm already playing with the web server settings to see if there's any real gain to be had there.
The IE9 results are pretty bad, no doubt. But if someone is on IE9, they are not going to have a good experience with all the app features anyway. Fortunately, the IE10 picture is a lot better:

Chrome and Firefox loads are also looking pretty good to me, considering that the app is a complicated program, not just any old webpage.
As for CloudFlare, I'll look into what it would take to serve some static content from there, or from a comparable CDN. Is their free tier worthwhile in your experience?

Yep I use CloudFlare for some of my Joomla sites at work, the free tier has been pretty good and didn't seem too limiting.
I must have picked a bad datacenter for the test, other tests are better.

Also whoops, my custom bg image also ate up a chunk of some load time.

If it's any consolation, my background's even bigger 
Yours looks very nice. Might want to make it stretchable though, for those of us with insane resolutions.
