only thing i will say is the icons for the muds could do with being a little bit smaller...

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm toying with some ideas about how to bring more daily foot traffic from players and devs. Including some kind of voting / ranking system. But I'm not sure how I feel about the existing examples of that...

Agreed, I like the front page more this way. Also about the voting, I know what you mean. Not sure if it's really worth it?

ive noticed that the background image appears to have vanished from the "Home" part of the site... but still is there on the actual app part, is this intentional?

Yes. I'm experimenting with templates to see if I can make the non-app parts of the site faster and more mobile-friendly. You don't like the textured background?
